We want you to get the care you need.
Pete Vischer, LMHC
It’s so easy in this day and age to lose sight of one’s self and wake up one day and not recognize the person in the mirror. It’s my passion to come alongside those individuals or couples that have lost their way in life and need a listening ear or a fresh perspective. I firmly believe that every dry and painful season of life can be a springboard into hope for the next. It does not matter who you are, what’s been done or what you have done, there is hope.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Colorado Christian University. Depending on the needs of the client, I utilize differing therapeutic techniques including narrative, motivational interviewing, EMDR, person-centered as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy. Beyond those therapeutic techniques, I love encouraging clients. Finding and calling out the God-given strengths that each one has is a privilege I do not take lightly. When all is said and done, my hope is that clients walk away simply feeling heard and valued.
When I am not in the counseling office, I am typically being tackled by my 3 sons. When they allow me to come up for air, I enjoy reading, golfing and working around the house as I am attempting to finish my basement.
Pete accepts Anthem BCBS, UnitedHealthcare and cash pay.
